Rev. Terry D. Moore and wife Melissa have been members of Haughton United Pentecostal Church for twelve years. They served as youth minister and assistant pastor until becoming co-pastor in 2003. When Rev. ML Moore stepped up into another role in 2004 Rev. Terry became pastor.
Rev. Terry and Sis. Melissa have two children, Lauren and Braden. Sis. Melissa and Lauren serve as members of the sign team and praise singers. Lauren is also active in the youth group while Braden is an active six year old who keeps everyone on their toes. This family has dedicated their lives to serving the Lord and preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ.
On November 20, 1995 Bro. ML Moore became our pastor. With him was his wife, Sis. Glenda Moore who served as organist and ladies leader. Immediately Bro. Moore energized us to the need of a new facility. On August 31, 1997 we held our first service in a new sanctuary. Bro. Moore's unselfish service to our church made a positive influence in all programs. His heartbeat was unity and worship.
On April 18, 2003 his son, Rev. Terry D. Moore was elected as co-pastor. On February 29, 2004 Bro. Moore stepped into the role of Sr. Pastor with Bro. Terry assuming the role of Pastor.
